The idea behind the Caveman Diet is getting back to basics. 10,000 years ago, before the advent of our modern conveniences, Cavemen ate a hunter/gatherer diet (a.k.a. a Paleolitic or “Paleo” diet). So, their diet was rich in fruits and nuts, as well as wild game and fish.
